Direct Primary Care Package

$50/month

With this package, you pay $50 per month, with a 6 month minimum. The rate for additional siblings is $25 per month. This provides unlimited visits to the office. Vaccines are charged to private insurance if you have it, or provided by the state if you do not have access to insurance. Lab tests will be offered at cost. This package requires a contract and a billing method (a credit card on file or payment up front). Insurance cannot be used to pay for this plan. Unfortunately, at this time, an HSA, FSA, and HRA may not be used to pay for any direct primary care plan. Thanks to a clause in the Tax Code, it’s considered tax fraud for patients and parents - no thanks!

Insurance Options

Insurance is an integral part of medical care in American culture and society. For families who choose not to use insurance, check out the direct primary care option. For those who have invested in, and rely on, health insurance, Bloom Pediatric Partners strives to be inclusive of all. This isn’t a cash grab - we want to ensure families won’t be turned away from our care because their insurance is “not accepted”. If you do not see your insurance company listed here, contact us [info@bloompediatricsnc.com or call 984-999-3957].

Bloom Pediatric Partners expects to be In Network with the following carriers:

  • Aetna*

  • Ambetter

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield*

  • CHAMPVA

  • Cigna

  • Coventry

  • First Health

  • Healthgram

  • Humana

  • Medicaid (all 5 programs)

  • Medcost

  • MultiPlan, Inc

  • PHCS

  • Three Rivers

  • TriCare - we are in network with all TriCare as of July 2023!

  • United Healthcare Commercial

  • UMR

*Please verify your insurance coverage. If your insurance plan was created by your employer in the Marketplace, we may not be considered in network. This includes UNC Health Alliance (Blue Home and Blue Value) and multiple Aetna plans (Silver, Gold, CVS, Duke). If you have these or other Select Plans, we would be happy to join, but these must be requested on an individual basis. Many of these groups are not willing to let us in because they state they have no care gaps (including those listed above). We will continue to reach out and request participation.

Need a Dentist?

We think very highly of Signature Family Dentistry in Angier and Langworthy Family Dentistry in Fuquay-Varina!

But we also know it can be hard to find dental care with some insurance programs. You can search for dentists who accept Medicaid and NC Health Choice. If you don’t have dental insurance for your children, they may qualify for insurance through CHIP or other state-funded programs. For managed plans, we are reaching out for lists of dentists who accept these programs.
