After Hours & Weekend Care

Dr. Beavers does not see patients after hours or on weekends.

If your child needs care before the next business day:

• Best option: Go to a pediatric urgent care (like PM Pediatrics Cary) or a pediatric emergency department (like WakeMed Pediatric ER).

• If those are too far: You may also use a local urgent care or emergency department that is not pediatric-specific (like WakeMed Urgent Care).

We understand these pediatric-specific offices may be far from Bloom, but they remain the best option when available.

For non-urgent needs:

• Send questions like medication refills or tips (e.g., helping your child take medicine) through the Patient Portal.

For urgent questions that cannot wait:

• Call the office or send a text to Dr. Beavers.

• If you don’t receive a response with in a hour, please follow up.

Weekend exceptions:

• Urgent newborn care may be scheduled on weekends.

• These visits can only be initiated by Dr. Bea.
